Spring 2025 HSSSE and MGSSE registrations are open!
See important information and registration links below. If you are interested in administering HSSSE or MGSSE at a future date, sign up for our listserv to receive an email when the next round of registration begins.
Registration needs to be a minimum of 1 week prior to administration to allow for required notification of parents/guardians/students.
Please allow one week for our team to review and process your HSSSE and/or MGSSE registration. For online surveys, once your registration is processed, the contacts you identified in the registration form will receive an email that includes your school’s survey link along with important administration instructions. Please carefully read through and follow all administration instructions.

CEPR believes HSSSE and MGSSE offer important opportunities for researchers and public schools or districts to better understand how students engage with their peers and adults in schools, their classrooms and learning experiences, and their schools more broadly.
Unlike knowledge-based assessment instruments, HSSSE and MGSSE provide invaluable student engagement data that showcase how schools instill 21st century skills in their students while providing a caring and safe environment that nurtures the whole child.
Researchers and public schools have two ways that they can use HSSSE or MGSSE to better understand students’ engagement:
